"Story Park"

"Story Park" will be a part of the National Warbird Hall
of Fame. An outdoor sculpture museum dedicated to those
who flew, crewed, and loved that period of time.
The National Warbird Hall of Fame will bring life to a
bygone era and provide an education to our children and
their children. "Story Park" is a place for families to
walk through history, reading personal accounts from this
generation and touch bronze monumental replicas of the
machines that brought us peace.
"Story Park" will house 10 Monumental Bronze Warbirds,
sculpted by renowned sculptor Robert Henderson. There will
also be 10 Storyboards (bronze plaques mounted on
granite). Various other World War II related sculptures
will occupy the lushly landscaped grounds. Well lit,
wheelchair accessible walkways will lead to the monuments
where visitors will find granite benches and tables where
they may pause to reflect.
