Eielson Air Force Base will the the next permanent site of a large scale bronze P51 replica. Personnel at the base are anxious to have their own WWII memorial to aviation. Scheduled for installation in 2005, this replica will continue the story of the WWII era.

Honoring the 354th FG and Col. Glen Eagleston's P51D, leading ACE of the 9th AF.
