 Stephen Ambrose Memorial

The Commemorative Air Force Museum at Midland, Texas now permanently houses the STEPHEN AMBROSE MEMORIAL. Dedicated in September 2003 in an outdoor ceremony featuring Senator George McGovern, this bronze B24 commemorates the late author and warbird aficionado. Also present, and very grateful to the sculptor, was Ambrose's son.
