2006 Lindbergh Awards

This year, Robert has been asked to work alongside Erik Lindbergh to create the 2006 Lindbergh award. Robert has put into bronze the wooden design of Charles Lindbergh’s famous airplane which his grandson, Erik, has sculpted.

The awards give acknowledgment to those who have taken on and accomplished extreme challenges. This year, Dr. Peter Diamandis and Will Steger will be honored.

Diamandis is the Chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation. Steger is the Arctic explorer, educator, writer and photographer. For the first time, a corporate award for balance will be presented to Patagonia, Inc.
