Our Pioneers
Today’s pioneers are few and far between. Of course, our astronauts are among the few. Modern-day pioneers are now sitting in laboratories at think-tanks; pharmaceutical companies, software manufacturers, to name a couple.
To ‘pioneer’ takes courage and stamina. To go beyond “no” and the naysayers brings our pioneers initial ridicule and scorn.
But, thank goodness they persist! We are all better because of their stubborn refusal to walk the path more travelled…
