Fact Or Fiction
So much of history has been re-written. Is it because individual perspectives are different or do we try to accomodate our imaginations?
It is always amusing to go to WWII veteran reunions and listen to recounts of experiences. I tend to watch the reactions of wives who are either rolling their eyes or removing themselves from the storyteller.
Does it matter, though? Has all of our history been interpreted then re-interpreted ad nauseum? We’ll never know, will we?
