THE CHILD WITHIN
When was the last time you allowed yourself to ‘play?’ Most adults have a rather staid view of what it means to be an adult. Maturity, for some, is translated into seriousness. If we allow ourselves to play, it is usually in the context of rules- golf, tennis, etc.
The idea of play is spontaneity and unregulated joy. Just watch children on a playground- they are unrehearsed and react to spin of the moment activities. They can laugh out loud and unashamed ‘wild abandon’ come to mind when viewing children at play.
