The Silence of the Lambs
Okay, so now we have a new fight – the right says ‘BRAVO” to Bush’s nominee and the left says – well, ALMOST NOTHING! Are we, again, gearing up for NOTHING? Will the show be just that?
It would truly be wonderful if we could hear each other! The committee hearing will be the continuous parallel monologues. Everyone will have their agendas. Unfortunately, the agenda of the people – US- will not be accounted for.
America’s populace is too busy trying to put food on the table, gas in the car and a mortgage payment in the bank. We don’t have the advantage of voting ourselves raises, as Congress does.
I think they’re hoping we’ll get so tired that we’ll just fall asleep. It’s time, though, for us to wake up – BEFORE the flowers have no scent!
