Putting Out Fires, LITERALLY!
Summer, in Colorado, is somewhat frightening. Dry and brittle brush surrounds all of our homes. We are aware of how fragile our environment is during this time of year.
Our first major fire is almost contained, thanks to some 800 firefighters. You see, we CAN come together as a force to battle a shared opponent. No idealogy here!
As difficult as battling fires are, it gives us an opportunity to get past politics and religion. It eliminates trivialities and extenuates our human-ness.
