Life in the Semi-Fast Lane
Our pace, as we get older, seems to decelerate. I guess that may be inevitable, no? But, if you’ve ever attended one of the many WWII reunions, you may be surprised at the spunk of those octogenarians!
Their agendas are grueling. They seem to have unbounding energy. I fear that when our elders leave, we’ll forget their unwavering zest for life and resort to that ‘couch potato’ mentality.
I sense that if we are to really honor their memory, we’ll strive to be as active – both in mind and body- as they. Moving our bodies insures that we’ll be able to use our minds. Enjoy the weekend – take a walk…
