The Freedom To Create
Freedom has become a negotiable commodity these days. Unfortunately, modern day America has seen some of the freedoms fought for by past generations become extinct. The freedom to think different ideas now gets relagated to un-patriotic thoughts. But, those who fought for freedom fought so that we would honor ‘differentness’ and respect creativity.
I am fearful that art may change as well. Our ‘creatives’ may be stifled and hampered – thereby not allowing themselves total freedom to create. The loss of the imaginative soul will be felt by all.
I guess that it is up to each of us to make sure that this does not happen. Encourage others to be innovative! Support the ‘starving artists’ as they surface. Our culture depends upon how we treat the non-conformist for they bring flavor to the world…FREEDOM FLIGHT
