What Next?
Listening to our daily news shows can only make you wonder as to what, if anything, will Generation X choose to memorialize. Will they create monumental art to wars? And, if so, will they spotlight the civil wars in our out-of-control neighborhoods or the wars overseas? And, if overseas, which ones – Iraq, Afghanistan, the Sudan, Bosnia?
I guess I’d like to see memorials to thsoe who spend their lives propagating THE PEACE - perhaps with large peace gardens full of bronze Mandela’s, Mother Teresa’s, Jimmy Carter’s, etc.
