Racing Gets a Boost
The world of car racing is no longer male dominated. Sunday’s INDY 500 was a testament to the power of women and their refusal to sit ‘in the stands.’
After years of ho-hum Indy 500’s (after the break-up), the race took on an aura of excitement with Danica Patrick. The young woman showed skill and patience, two necessary traits of a serious contender. She was a winner (albeit in 4th place).
It would be great, some day, for Robert to create a work entltled “THE WOMEN OF RACING.” I’ll talk to him…
