Let The Dialogue Begin
Effective art evokes emotion and dialogue. So, the in-process Memorial to soldier Danny Dietz is doing what we all hoped it would – create a forum for dialogue.
It doesn’t really matter “who, what or where” ONLY “why.” To provoke a discussion where we listen to each other is restorative. Speaking about guns, war, loss and community is healthy. If we are ever to stop violence, it begins with speaking with each other.
Listening is more than getting ready to speak. Let’s begin to hear each other because our voices count…
