Let’s Not Forget…
On this memorable day, when immigrants are taking to the streets, let’s not forget our past immigrants. Sure, there are alot of questions about what to do. But, bottom line, we must remember that people are the issue.
Corporate greed has a stake in keeping the illegal immigrant under the wire. They don’t have to be paid a fair wage or be given health benefits. They are the ‘new slaves’ of corporate America.
But in times past, with laws abided by, immigrants were willing to comply with existing laws and America was grateful to have them. Will we ever return to the ‘good old days?’
